Jei nago forma itin plati, lakuojamas nago centras, o krašteliai lieka nepadengti, taip rankos akimirksniu atrodo siauresnės“, – grožio triukais dalijasi A. Samuilova.
Manikiūro tendencijos
Vienas iš A. Samuilovos tobulo manikiūro ginklų – elegancijos ir išskirtinumo derinys. „Jei tinkamai derinsite nagų lako atspalvius ir nagų formą, manikiūras gali tapti puikiu aksesuaru. Visuomet madingas vidutinis nagų ilgis ir tamsūs atspalviai padės sukurti elegantišką ir išskirtinį įvaizdį. Šiemet ypač populiarūs vyšnių, šokolado ir baklažano atspalviai, taip pat paryškinti nagų galiukai ar apverstas prancūziškas manikiūras, kai dailia pusmėnulio forma paryškinama nagų augimo linija“, – sako manikiūro specialistė.

Nagai – išskirtinis akcentas
Pasak manikiūro specialistės, susikurti išskirtinį manikiūrą galima ir namuose: „Kai lakuojate nagus viena spalva, vieną nagą galite nulakuoti kitu panašiu atspalviu – ypač paprasta ir originalu.“ Toks manikiūras šaltuoju sezonu itin madingas, jį renkasi ir pramogų pasaulio garsenybės.

Kokia nagų forma tau labiausiai tiktų

Jei nagus visuomet modeliuoji taip pat, kaip esi įpratusi, tuomet turėtum žinoti kelis kriterijus, kurie padės išsirinkti tau labiausiai tinkančią formą.

1. Kvadratinė nagų forma (prancūziškas manikiūras) labiausiai tiks toms, kurių nagų plokštelė gana plati. Kvadratinę formą, tiek suapvalintais, tiek griežtais kampučiais, rekomenduojama rinktis ilgapirštėms – taip pavyks pirštus optiškai sutrumpinti.
2. Ovalūs nagai labiausiai tiks merginoms, turinčioms tiek siaurus, tiek plačius nagus. Tačiau ši forma vizualiai pailgins pirštus, o rankos atrodys kur kas moteriškiau.

3. Migdolo formos nagai tiks labiausiai toms merginoms, kurios gali pasigirti dailiomis ir moteriškomis plaštakomis. Nors ši forma nėra pati populiariausia, tačiau ji viena universaliausių ir tinka didžiajai daugumai damų.

The six steps of creating manicure

Step 1
Traditional manicures begin with removing all remnants of old nail polish. In order to do that, soak a cotton ball with some nail polish remover and wipe your nails individually starting at the cuticles and moving outward. Do not rub too hard. If there are some areas where the old polish it too resilient, leave the cotton ball over them for a while and then wipe. When you have removed the old nail polish from all your nails, rinse your hands with cool water.
Step 2
Next you have to give your nails the desired shape, making them all smooth and even.  If your nails have grown too long, you have to cut them first with nail clippers or manicure scissors and then shape them with a file. Do not perform this procedure if your nails are wet or moist, because it increases the risk or splitting.
Nail shape can be either round, oval, square or peaked. The oval shape is the most popular and convenient for everyday wear, at home as well as at work. It also has the added benefit of optically elongating the nail and the whole finger. The square shape has a rigid, conservative look. Square-shaped nails are usually not very long – only reaching to the tip of the finger. If your nails are prone to splitting, try giving them a hybrid shape between oval and square. This is done by cutting your nails into the square shape and rounding off the edges with a file. The peaked shape looks good on long fingers only. Avoid this shape if your fingers are short or stubby.
Step 3
After you have given your nails the desired shape, dip your fingers in special solution for 10 or 15 minutes. This procedure will calm and relax the skin on your hands and make the cuticles easier to remove. The solution can be herbal brew, soapy water or warm water with sea salt. Use whichever works best for you. If you wish, you can add a few ingredients of your own to make the solution more effective.
Step 4
Towel-dry your hands and then give them a few minutes to air-dry completely before you begin the cuticle removal procedure. There are several ways this procedure can be done.
The European way is to soften the cuticle with some moisturizing lotion and push it back with a wooden spatula. This is an easy way to deal with cuticles, but it needs to be done regularly. The benefit is that it doesn’t harm or traumatize healthy skin.
The other way is to cut the cuticle out with manicure scissors or a special cuticle remover tool. This is a bit more risky, since there is a chance of infection, so make sure all your tools are clean and sterile.
Step 5
Polish your nails with a paper nail file in order to make the nail plate smooth and even, thus making it also a better base for the nail polish of step 6.
Step 6
Now we come to the fun part – applying nail polish. Before you apply the colored coats however, you will need to protect the nail with a coat of clear nail polish or special base. Then add two coats of your favorite polish color waiting for each of them to dry completely before applying the next. Finish off with another coat of clear polish to make your manicure last longer.

When and why do nails break?

There can be several reasons behind breaking of the nails. One of them can be found in the effects of chemicals, contained in detergents or other house cleaning products, including dish washing liquid. Another reason
is that they spend too much time in water, as when doing the dishes. A simple solution for this would be to use rubber gloves when doing housework and a lotion containing glycerin to rub the hands and nails with after each washing.
Of course, this treatment is not always effective, especially if your diet is unvarying and lacking in iron. The nails also become brittle and break easily when you go on a weight reducing diet. Then the lack of foods containing iron can become very noticeable, foods such as beef, whole wheat bread, apricots, walnuts, raisins, etc. If you do not like blackcurrant or black elderberry you can eat fresh coleslaw salads. Avoid the overconsumption of liver, because although it is rich in iron, it also serves in the body as a filter for all toxins, which are retained in its tissue. Finally, in order for your nails to be healthy and beautiful, they need special attention from you and maybe a little spoiling once in a while.

How to heal brittle nails and decorate them

One of the best natural remedies for brittle nails is lemon juice. It is a great strengthener and can be applied before the base layer of polish when you’re doing your manicure.
Calcium also helps with brittle nails. Today’s cosmetic industry offers tons of gels, lotions and polishes with a high content of calcium, which can also be used before applying the base layer of polish.
For ladies who like to decorate their nails specialists offer the following advice:
This season you can use neutral tones, as well as bright ones such as fuchsia, purple, bright red and blue. One of the hottest fashion tendencies is that your nails repeat the pattern of your outfit. Special powders, acrylic paint and polishes are used for decoration.
Plant details are always preferred and look good on everyone in every occasion. However, experts would like to remind you that big flowers or butterflies on the thumbs are for special occasions only and not for everyday events. Another effective and delicate tendency is for decorating only the ring finger. This classy manicure goes well on everyone and everything.
